WSB member Susan Robson reports on a fun and festive evening at the Community Brass Christmas Supper Concert.
Wantage Community Brass kicked off the Christmas season with their annual Supper Concert. A varied programme of traditional, modern and festive music with the highlight being audience participation as always. Five bars into Basse Danse Bergeret, the audience were really getting into the swing of clapping the rhythm!
The hall was decked out earlier in the day by a team of elves so by the evening The Sykes Hall was strung with lights and a Christmas tree took pride of place in the corner.
A lovely event to set us all up for December.
