Success in Wales

Wantage Band superstar, Imogen Fewster, won her third individual award since joining the band, at the Welsh Open just a couple of weekends ago! This was a special award as it was in memory of Jonathan Bound, who very sadly passed away at the age of 49 towards the end of last year. Jon was a highly respected and well loved figure of the Welsh brass banding movement, and performed at this contest on numerous occasions. A baritone player too, his family and friends donated this cup to the contest for his memory to live on year on year.
