Wantage Youth Brass

Wantage Youth Brass nurtures some of the best young talent in our organisation. Each year the band competes at the National Youth Championships as well as many other engagements throughout the region.

 

Led by duo Sara Wallbridge and Judith Atkins each week, the band rehearse challenging, popular repertoire which pushes the players on every individual part. The highlight for most members is the fundraising they do through a weekly tuck shop and pizza evenings.
 
The band have weekend workshops normally three times per year and are encouraged to perform in our regular solo events. They always put on a great show with choreographed performances and even sections performed by memory.
